Instrument Analyzer Technician

Workingfor OQ LPIC EPC-2 (Poly Ethylene & Polypropylene) as Instrument AnalyzerTechnician and performs the daily preventive, corrective maintenance routine and Startup Support activities as per Job schedule.

•Preparation of E-permit (PTW - Permit Vision) and distributions all the activities within our team. 

•Performing the troubleshooting and Maintenance activities on ESD Loops, PDS, Compressors, purge & Blowback sequence unit as per Preventive and corrective Maintenance Schedule.

•Isolation of Radioactive Source (LT) and preparation of radiation Survey Record report.

•Calibrates the Process transmitters (PT, DPT, TT), Gauges, Valve positioner on control valves based on job Schedule.

•Servicing Experience on the SOV, Spool valves, Moisture, PM filter and Rotameter units.

•Worked Experience on Yokogawa DCS CENTUM VP, PI Vision, HART 475 & Trex, Beamex MCS 100, Fluke Process & Pressure Calibrators. 

•Troubleshooting Experience on instruments supporting Foundation field bus, Modbus and HART Protocols.

•Supported the Commissioning and Maintenance of Analyzer Related activities for Tecnimont on LIWA EPC-2 (Polyethylene and Polypropylene).

•Performed the routine checkup on Sample Handling/Conditioning Systems and calibration of gas detectors (H2S, CO, SO2, HC), O2 analyzer, Moisture, Gas Chromatograph, Liquid Analyzers (PH, ORP, Conductivity, DO, TSS) on OQ Refinery (SRIP) - Offsite, utility, ISOM, SGU, SRU & WTP areas as per Job Schedule.

•Responsible for Preparation and Maintains the calibration reports, PM, CM check list report of field instruments and Spares availability list in workshop.

•Reporting about the Maintenance activities with details to the OQ client and update the related documents in SAP. 

Service Engineer

Service Engnieer (2016/03 - 2019/04)

Worked as part of a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering and coordinate with procurement team by providing technical assistance for Instrument and Analyzer Packages related Projects. Responsible for Commissioning, Calibration and Maintenance of Field Instruments, Process analyzers and Live data Communication of Analyzer Shelters to Pollution Control Boards as per AMC and Warranty Contract with Clients on Tamilnadu and Kerala.

•Responsible for Commissioning and Maintenance (service) of Dust Monitors, Effluent Monitoring System, OPSIS AQMS, CEMS Analyzers, Honeywell Gas Detectors, field instruments (Krohne) and Third party system packages. 

•Experience on revamping of Sample Conditioning units and Analyzer Packages.

•Supervised on AAQMS Shelter fabrication, Inspection and commissioning activities

Instrumentation Engineer

Worked as Instrumentation Engineer on FCCU (PTU), Refinery ETP and SWRO to Perform Operation and Maintenance Activities. Prepared the daily job plan, Permits and calibration schedule for the Maintenance activities. Fore-cast the site problems and communicate the same to the Concerned authority.

•Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of PTU, Refinery ETP and SWRO units.

•Preventive Maintenance of Field Instruments and Routine Calibration of Gas Detectors, Process Analyzers (pH, Conductivity, ORP, TSS, DO, oil in grease, TOC).

•Commissioning of filter systems Operations (PTU), Valve Operation Sequence on Refinery ETP by Using Cause and Effect & Control Philosophy at Refinery ETP.

•Worked on GE Fanuc PLC systems and its supporting Hardware components. 

•Participated on Activity for Commissioning of Modbus based communication between GE-Fanuc & Siemens S7-400 PLC.

•Shutdown & Turnaround Experience on FCCU, SWRO (180M3/hr) & Filter units

•Experienced on Service with filter units, Actuators, Valves, SOV's and limit switches 

•Troubleshooting Experience on Bartech Purge controller with Siemens S-700 PLC Field Local Controller Panel.

Graduate Apprentice Trainee

Worked as Graduate Apprentice Trainee on Instrumentation Maintenance Department for Sulphuric Acid Plant, ETP, RO. Responsible for PTW, weekly Acid Loading bay PM reports and communicate the same to the Plant manager.

•Maintenance and troubleshooting of all process Instruments and transmitter such as Temperature, flow, pressure, level of various make such as Yokogawa, Siemens, E&H, Rosemount and ABB.

•Experience on Maintenance with CEMS analyzer, Gas Analyzer (SO2, SO3, O2 and H2S) and water Quality analyzers.

•Pre Commissioning, Commissioning and start-up activities in RO-2 Plant, SAP TGS unit Analyzer.
