With25+ years of design experience in Buildings, 15+ years in MEP, HVAC andBuilding Services, and more than 10+ in Oil and Gasindustry, during which I had the great opportunity to be part of severalMegaprojects (up to 14.5 bn)in the middle east area for many prominent Clients on every project phase, fromFront-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detail Designto the Construction and Commissioning. As Project Management Consultant (PMC), EPCand Engineering Contractor my activities have beenrelated to both civil and industrial buildings, Onshore and Offshore,such as: Control Bldgs.; High Rise Admin. Buildings; Blast Resistant Bldgs.; ElectricalSubstations; Process Interface Bldgs.; Rack Rooms; Data Centers, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical,Laboratories, Fire Stations, Offshore living quarters, Harbor Areas Complex,Sea Island Areas and FPSO.
With themultidisciplinary knowledge and understanding required tocoordinate all the involved disciplines, I’m proficient in HVAC systems, Energyconservation, Hydraulic Systems, Drainage, Pumps and Piping, Control Systems, BuildingManagement Systems (BMS), Fire Suppression and Fire & Gas Alarm,with an in-depth knowledge of design procedures, Codes and InternationalStandards.
AL-ZOUR REFINERY PROJECT (KNPC/KIPIC)
Working as part of the Project Management Team to supervise the construction of the new Al-Zour Refinery from the front-end engineering design (FEED) and Detail Design to the Construction and Commissioning activities. The role entails to supervise 7 EPC contracts in a multi-package multi-location delivery with different key EPC Contractors. The project includes a large variety of Onshore and Offshore buildings (such as high rise Admin. Bldg., Control Bldg., Control Tower, Substations, Auxiliary Bldg., Laboratories, Clinics, Fire Stations, Sea Islands, Data Centers) divided into many different areas: two large Campus Administration Areas served by District Cooling (DHC) systems; vast Process Onshore Areas; Harbor Area Complex.
The capital value of the project is approximately $14.5 billion (615,000 barrels per day). Main Engineering, Construction and Pre-commissioning Activities:
